Abilene High beat Tascosa 28-21 in Amarillo on a touchdown in the last minute.

The Eagles scored on their first drive, but Tascosa answered right away with a 60-yard touchdown pass and went ahead on a short run on its next drive. Abilene High's quarterback tied it at 14 before halftime with a 20-yard scramble and a two-point conversion.

Tascosa went back in front 21-14 in the third quarter. Abilene High tied it on a quarterback draw, then won it with a 27-yard touchdown pass with less than a minute to play.

The win puts the Eagles at 4-1 in district and 6-3 overall. If they beat Frenship next week, they clinch a bi-district playoff game at Shotwell Stadium. Coverage of the game also noted the Eagles quarterback set the school's career record for passing touchdowns.
