Fall ArtWalk draws crowds downtown despite the rain

Abilene's Fall ArtWalk went on in the rain on Oct. 29, and residents still came out downtown to see work by local artists.

This month's event in the 200 block of Cypress Street added pumpkin decorating and trick-or-treating to the usual art displays. The event ran from 5 to 9 p.m. and was sponsored by Clear Fork Bank. A longtime collector of Abilene artists' work told the station it was one of the best shows he could remember.
