SchoolsDr. John Kuhn has left Abilene ISD. District leaders confirmed his departure took effect Sept. 30.
Kuhn was AISD's superintendent until he stepped down in February after a health incident. He then became the district's director of multilingual achievement.
He has gone back to Mineral Wells ISD, where he was superintendent before. He now works there as the instructional multi-tiered system of support (MTSS) coach and as a leadership mentor.
