Sweetwater crews keep Newman Street outbuilding fire from reaching the house next door

Sweetwater firefighters were called on Oct. 27 to the 200 block of Newman Street, where an outbuilding next to a home was fully in flames when they arrived.

Crews kept the fire from spreading to the house and nearby structures. No injuries were reported. Roscoe volunteer firefighters helped with cleanup work at the scene. The cause is under investigation.
